CONGO BARS

1 - 1/2 sticks of margarine melted (12 tbsp)              2 1/4 cups Flour
1 lb. light brown sugar                                               1/2 tsp Salt
3 Eggs slightly beaten                                              2 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1tsp. Vanilla                                                             12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Into bowl add melted butter, brown sugar eggs and vanilla.  Sift dry into the wet
flour, salt and baking powder and mix.  Incorporate chocolate chips reserving 1/2 
cup to sprinkle on top of batter.
Bake in a greased 10 1/2 x 15" pan at 335 degrees for 25 - 
30 minutes until light and golden color.
